National Gugak Center is the primary institution for the performance and advancement of traditional music in Korea. With roots dating back to the Royal Music Institute of the Silla Dynasty (57 BC – 935 AD), it has preserved and promoted Korean traditional music in Korea and beyond.
In partnership with the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Houston, the Asia Society Texas Center is pleased to present this esteemed ensemble for a members-only performance that explores classical instrumental selections, court music, and modern compositions.
