Expanding Economic Connectivity in Greater Central Asia
VIEW EVENT DETAILSThe Asia Society Policy Institute is pleased to present a special program, “Expanding Economic Connectivity in Greater Central Asia,” featuring the Honorable U.S. Deputy Secretary of State William J. Burns and high-level government officials invited from the region. While security issues and challenges abound across this region, so too do great opportunities for economic connectivity and growth along what many are calling “The New Silk Road.” Our top-flight speakers will review current efforts to promote development of a stable, secure, and prosperous Central and South Asia.
Join us for a signature moment during this season of programming associated with the 2014 sessions of the United Nations General Assembly. A continental breakfast will be served.
